I love the theater. Favorite musicals include Cats, Evita, Man of La Mancha, Mamma Mia, Lion King. Favorite play--Waiting for Godot I have a Friendship Garden in my yard. Nothing is planted in it unless it is a perennial given to me by someone. Growing friends include my parents; my brother, Jim; Bo & Jody Bobek, Bill Hinegardner, Denis Minor, Gary Snodgrass, Linda Campbell, Linda Fisher, Becky Marple, Sandy Loughman, Nancy Johnson, Lois & Butch Elias, Marilyn McWhorter, Kim Clark, Nicole Shipman, Jim Wehrheim. I enjoy the smell of fresh brewed coffee, newly cut grass, and spring rain. I like to feel the warmth of the sun and the crispness of the wind on my face. I marvel at hummingbirds and quietly observe the finches as they feed in my backyard. I like to hear my cats purr and feel the vibrations against my skin. I adore the taste of gilato (Italian ice cream) and often crave pork and sourkraut, liver and onions, and any pasta. I'm not a great cook, but I make the best Italian stuffed artichokes you'll ever taste. I'm also good at homemade spaghetti sauce with tomatoes from the garden. I enjoy walking, biking, rollerblading, and hiking. Gardening is a favorite hobby, and I simply love being outside. My favorite season is autumn, and I eagerly await the spectacular changing of the leaves each fall. Summer, spring, and winter are next--in that order.
