Luci Hamilton

Luci Hamilton serves as a Task Force Member for Special Projects for the Greater Los Angeles Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators and is the Festival Administrator and Volunteer Coordinator for The Broad Humor Film Festival in Venice Beach, CA. She has over 10 years of experience in management consulting to law firms, entertainment and media clients, including SAG – Screen Actors Guild members other privately held businesses and non-profit organizations. In addition, she has over 15 years of experience as a law firm Executive Director and Chief Administrative Officer. Currently, she serves as the Executive Director of Extra Insight, Inc. a Beverly Hills, CA based management consulting firm. She also taught Law Practice Management and Client Development in the Certificate Program in Professional Legal Management and Administration, at California State University Fullerton. Ms. Hamilton served as a member of LACBA – Executive Committee Law Practice Management Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association from 2001-2004. She also served on the board of the Greater Los Angeles Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators since 1995 and became the chapter President in 2004. She chaired the bi-monthly Inland Empire Section meetings of the Orange County and Los Angeles Chapters of ALA from 2006 to 2008. She is a member of the Association of Professional Law Firm Managers and the Society for Human Resources Management - SHRM. Additionally, she has lectured on management issues at local, regional, national and international educational conferences, and has authored numerous articles on management and operational topics in legal trade publications. In May of 2005, Ms. Hamilton was a guest lecturer at Universidade Estacio de Sa in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She spoke on the topic of “Law Practice Management in the United States: L.A. and California Law from the Legal Administrator's Perspective.” Ms. Hamilton earned an Award Certificate in General Business Administration; International Marketing and Advertising from the University of California at Los Angeles - UCLA. She also studied Portuguese and English and Literature at UERJ – Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro in 1982 while concurrently receiving a certificate in Business Administration, Human Resources and Facilities Management at the prestigious Rio de Janeiro campus of Universidade Candido Mendes. Ms. Hamilton is also a member of Women in Film, Los Angeles. WIF's purpose is to empower, promote and mentor women in the entertainment and media industries. Ms. Hamilton is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish and she can read Italian and French.
