Value Added Transition System Corp. (VATS) – 2002 to 2006 [Business process optimization services venture]:
o Co-developed proprietary technology that helps businesses reduce the cost and turn-time of work-flow processes. Employing custom software, web-based technologies and training, VATS is delivered with consulting assignments and integrated into customer quality programs. Select customers include Pratt & Whitney Component Solutions (ACE quality systems), Sarasota County FL, MTU-USA, MKS Instruments, Nypro Plastics, Arizona Department of Transportation and Delta Dental. Engagements typically returned 50 percent to 200 percent costs savings.
Pratt & Whitney (Canada) – 2001 and 2002: [Manufacturer of turbine engines for regional and corporate aircraft]:
o Advised and performed in-depth studies that quantified/qualified markets and offered strategies for growth, including “Aftermarket Services for Non-PWC Engine Components” and “Provision of Turbine Engine Support Services: What customer and MRO service providers are looking for from the OEM?”
Sturm, Ruger, Inc. – 2005: [Investment casting and firearm manufacturer]
o Retained to investigate and help select a quality system for $60 million titanium investment casting business that was economically appropriate for entering the medical device marketplace.
