Philip is an Associate Partner and Shared Services Solution Leader for Atos Consulting. Atos Consulting is part of Atos Origin, an international technology services company and the Worldwide Information Technology Provider for the Olympic Games.

Between 1990 and 1994 he was Finance Director of PHH Vehicle Management Services Plc, based in Swindon, England. He was part of a management team that led the market-leading company through significant growth. The company provided a variety of services including leasing, contract hire, fleet management and a range of fuel and maintenance service card systems.
From 1994 -1997 he designed, implemented and ran a Shared Services Centre for North American financial operations for PHH Corporation in Baltimore, USA. PHH had 3 divisions, Mortgage Banking, Fleet Management and Employee Relocation Services and the Centre provided services to all 3.
During the past 12 years he has played leading roles on several Global, European and UK Shared Services projects including a significant role in the global transformation of finance and administration at Reuters. He has also held 3 interim Shared Services Director roles, in London, Amsterdam and Budapest, so understands the practical challenges faced by Shared Services leaders today, in building and sustaining high performance.
Most recently he has been involved in assessments of Shared Services options on a global scale including comparisons of in-sourcing vs. outsourcing and near-shore vs. offshore, as well as the development of Shared Services optimisation strategies and leading Shared Services projects outside of Finance – in Customer Services, Procurement, IT and HR.
I am Associate Partner at Atos Consulting and have worked in the field of Shared Services and process improvement for 15 years, having previously enjoyed a career in Finance culminating in an FD role for 5 years.
