For the past 7 years I have been working on a senior management level in a multi-site enviroment. Before that I've been working as a districtmanager at ETOS Health and Beauty being responsible for several districts around Holland, mostly in the Randstad.
At Free Record Shop and A.S.Watson I managed a region with about 65 (FRS) and 175 stores (AS Watsons) runned by 8 to 12 districtmanagers.
Recently I've been acting as a countrymanager for Claire's accessoires. In that role I was responsible for the operations of all stores in the Benelux. Together with 5 other countrymanagers running the UK, ROI and Scotland I was part of the operational team in the UK group based in Birmingham (UK)
As a countrymanager I directly managed 5 districtmanagers each with about 10 stores in their district. My goals where achieving the highest possible standard in customer service to gain maximum sales and finally maximize profit.
I left Claire's mainly because of the high rate of travel.
The end of december last Year I started as manager operations at Jamin winkelbedrijven BV.
Jamin is the Dutch market leader in candy stores. Currently operating 150 stores across the Netherlands. Primary goal is to optimize the business and build the brand to put Jamin back on the map and top of mind as the prime destination for candy and gifts.
My key values are: Commitment, compliance, consistency and teamwork.

-I also followed several franchise courses at the Franchise University.
-Joint ventures: Etos and NS stations BV, Free record shop and Stations BV.

As a countrymanager I was fully responsible for all Claire's store in the Benelux, reporting to the Retail Director in the UK. Currently operating 45 stores in the Benelux. Claire's operates 3.500 stores worldwide and is the market Leader in accessories. HQ is in Chigaco, the European headquarters is in Birmingham. Claire's is owned by Apollo investments ltd.

In this role I have been responsible for several districts through the Netherlands, mostly in the western part. As a districtmanager operations I was resposible for 25 tot 35 Etos stores. I managed the storemanagers directly and reported to the Retail director. Operational Kpi's were turnover, SOP, expansion etc.
