Mike was recently asked to rejoin his colleagues as a Senior Director in Health & Wellness Operations and to lead a critical initiative to deliver a web based scheduling solution for our Healthcare Professionals.

Prior to his transition to Health & Wellness Operations, Mike was the Senior Director of Talent Acquisitions for Walmart Stores U.S. Division. He was responsible for leading all recruitment efforts for Walmart Stores Home Office and Field Operations, including Health and Wellness (pharmacy and optometry), Human Resources, Merchandising, Marketing, Real Estate, Financial Services, and more. Additionally, Mike leads our Military, Diversity, Professional Association and Campus Relations efforts. Previously, Mike served for two years as the National Director of Talent Services & Campus Relations for Walmart Store's Health and Wellness Division. Mike led all of recruitment operations for pharmacy and optometry, campus and professional association relations, employment marketing/branding, and workforce planning for Walmart's Health and Wellness Division.
Mike received his Bachelor's of Science degree in Pharmacy from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 1988. In his 20+ years of employment with Walmart, Mike has held the roles of Staff Pharmacist, Assistant Pharmacy Manager, and Pharmacy Manager while practicing pharmacy in East Texas. After seven years of practice in pharmacy, Mike was promoted to Pharmacy District Manager where he led operations for Walmart in Western Washington and Alaska. Eighteen months later, Mike was promoted to Pharmacy Regional Manager where he was responsible for leading multiple regions over the nine years he served as a Regional Manager. In 2006, Mike was promoted to National Director for Talent Services and in July of this year was asked to lead the recruitment efforts for Walmart Stores U.S and serve as the Senior Director of Talent Acquisitions.
Mike is an active member of the National Pharmaceutical Association and the American Pharmaceutical Association and has served as an advisor on boards such as the Texas Federation of Drug Stores. He currently serves on the selection committee for the Walmart/Pharmacy Times RESPy Award, and as a member of the National Association of Chain Drug Stores Pharmacy Education Advisory Committee. Mike and his wife, Jeanette, are the proud parents of two daughters and they make their home in Northwest Arkansas.
