Walter Huang 40 connections

Walter Huang is the co-founder and Managing Director of Heracles Investment Corp. He also served as a Board Director and Senior Vice President for a Chinese wind energy company publicly traded on TSX Venture Exchange ("TSX-V"), and the acting CFO for a US-invested beverage company in China.

Mr. Huang led the whole process from the "Red-Chip" reorganization, auditing, executives recruiting, to a private placement raising about US$ 25 million, and finally being listed on TSX-V for the Chinese wind energy company.

Prior to found Heracles, Walter Huang was the co-founder and Executive Vice President of a private equity investment firm based in Newport Beach, California. During his six year tenure, he led the firm's business in China. He originated quality deal flow, conducted due diligence, valuated investments, structured deals, assisted portfolio companies' growth, and executed exit strategy by going public or M&A.

Mr. Huang has years experience in investing in such industries as Internet, telecommunication, media, consumer products, renewable energy and CDM (Clear Development Mechanism) related projects. He also involved in the investment in entertainment (movie and TV) and sports industries. He led the effort of a consortium consisting of five US and Chinese companies to build the largest theme park in Beijing with an investment of over a billion dollar.

Prior to being a private equity investor and investment banker, Mr. Huang worked in several U.S. and Chinese companies including State Farm Insurance Companies and Morningstar Inc. He also served as a consultant for Walgreens Co., Newell Rubbermaid Inc and The Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company to assist with their E-Business strategy and Internet technology.

Mr. Huang is also an active community leader and was Vice President of the Association of Chinese Scientists and Engineers -- USA (ACSE) (1996-98) and Vice President of the Chicago Chinese Computing Professionals Association (1996－98). As a frequent public speaker, he has given speeches at a variety of conferences hosted by the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, Fordham University, Tsinghua University, Wuhan University, the United States of America-China Chamber of Commerce, and other organizations as well as Chinese government agencies. He also served as a member of Illinois Asian American Advisory Council for Senate President. He is currently the council member of Tianjin Overseas Exchanges Association.

Mr. Huang understands both the Chinese and North American business cultures and marketplaces, and he has established extensive contacts and connections throughout China and the North American.

Mr. Huang graduated from Fudan University, Shanghai with a B.S. Degree in Electronic Engineering, and performed graduate study at the University of Cincinnati for three years.
