I grew up in the St. Joseph, Michigan area, and as a young man moved to Washington DC, where I lived for twenty plus years. My strong interest in living “Green” and Traverse City’s healthy environment prompted me to return to my home state. With my strong entrepreneurial focus in business and environmental protection, I bring a fresh perspective to Michigan’s real estate and building market.

I have an extensive business background and owe much of my success to the art of truly listening to my clients and understanding their needs and concerns. I promise to bring my passion and enthusiasm to everybody I work with.

While living in DC, I worked with an environmental firm to help protect waterways and wetlands and also worked with area marinas to develop “Green Marina Practices”.

As an NAHB National Green Building Program Accredited Verifier I created a network of professionals dedicated to green and sustainable practices in real estate. For example: Greener mortgage brokers; Green REALTORS(R); Energy auditors; Lawyers; Builders; Alternative energy suppliers; Eco-friendly suppliers; Recycling centers; Xeriscaping (Landscape architects), among others. This assures my clients a stress free experience in the search for or sale of their green or energy efficient home.

Not only do I work with bilders and developers to certifiy their projects, I work as a green build consultant. As a consultant I work with builders, architects, remodelers, developers, real estate agents, and even home owners and buyers to achieve the green goals they have. I also provide green lifestyle consulting.
