Reema is the leading BOLLYFIT dancer, with experience and training in the Fitness Industry in the US and in South East Asia (including Australia).

Reema has also conceptualized ‘Bollywood Aerobics’, which is teaching fitness workouts to the latest and popular Bollywood Remix music. She launched this as the ‘BOLLYFIT’ Program in India in 2003,. She organized Fitness Dance Shows, including a performance at the ‘Youth Nexus Festival’, sponsored by HT City, where all the moves were synchronized to Bollywood music.

She has showcased the ‘BOLLYFIT’ programs, on all the prime TV channels in the country, including STAR, ZEE, Aaj Tak, CNBC (Goodlife Program), ‘Raat Baki’ on NDTV (Fitness Parties), as well as given interviews to the mainline dailies and lifestyle publications and magazines. Today, Reema is a well known fitness media personality.


As one of the leading Group Fitness Instructors and founder of the ‘BOLLYFIT’ Program in India, has been a pioneer of Group Fitness Aerobic activity in India. Representing The International Fitness Group in India, she is a certified Fitness Instructor, trained initially by the American Fitness Company & Aerobics Group, 'USA Shape'. As one of the leading Fitness Consultants in the country, she has over 16 years of experience and training in the Fitness Industry in the US (New York with Bally's Jack Lalane and with the California Fitness Group), in South East Asia (Singapore) and in Australia. In addition, Reema has done certification courses at multiple Reebok Workshops and Conventions on ’Healthy Living’ and ‘Nutritional Benefits’ program from, USA.

Reema returned to India in 2003 and has launched the BOLLYFIT Program’ as Motivational Aerobics to different corporate companies, Hotels and Resorts all over India, for net-worth individuals, including celebrities. Reema has been instrumental in promoting fitness in, as well as in introducing Aerobics and group fitness workouts at multiple locations in the country.

She has also amassed over 16 years of experience in the field of Brand Management, Public Relations & Corporate Communications with large global organizations in India and overseas, including the United Nations headquarters in New York.
Reema has worked as a Brand and PR Consultant with luxury brands including Bentley and Lamborghini India, Frazer & Haws, Fashion and the Art Industry. She has spearheaded the Marketing and Corporate Communications & Public Relations functions at many leading global corporations like AppLabs, the world’s largest independent testing and quality management company, FXLabs, the leading gaming company, the Halcyon Asia Group and The American Fair Credit Association, San Francisco.
One of her greatest achievement is her position as a Special Protocol Officer in the Public Relations Department of The United Nations, New York (1993 –1997), where her responsibilities included managing protocol and Public Relations Functions for Heads of States (English, Spanish and Hindi), as well as strategizing and disseminating information to the International Media, on international issues and functioning of the UN.

Recently, she spoke at the Marketing Summit 2008 on ‘Market like a Multi-Million$ Company on a Dollar a Day!’ She also moderated panel discussions at Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the World Bank Institute (WBI) workshop on ‘Building Models on Leadership and Innovation in the IT Sector: Piloting Experience on HIV/AIDS, Stigma and Inclusive Development’ and FICCI FLO event entitled ‘How Women have broken the shackles and moved on to conquer some of the male dominated professions and come out as winners’


Reema was the only women executive selected from Southern India, to receive the ‘Indira Super Achievers’ Award and Trophy, presented by the Shree Chanakya Education Society and the Indira Group of Institutes in 2005. She received the ‘Best International Foreign Student’ Award and Trophy at the University of Complutense, Madrid, 1993 and was selected in the 15 top students from class of 1995, Fashion Institute of Technology, New York, to work for 3 months in Hong Kong with one of the premier women’s retail apparel brand, Liz Clairborne. She has also been nominated as a member to the National CSR Panel of the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) and has addressed national forums and conferences on the subject

Her interests include fitness, music, dancing, writing ‘Urdu’ poetry, networking, traveling and reading.

Reema has an MBA from University of California, Berkeley; an Associate Degree in Marketing & Merchandising from The Fashion Institute of Technology, New York and a Master of Arts in Spanish Philology and Hispanic Studies from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. She also received a Diploma in Spanish Literature and Language from the University of Complutense, Spain. She has done multiple courses in acting , dancing and fitness choreography from leading organizations world-wide.
