alice kieft Has anyone else experienced when sitting 24/7 with someone in critical condition in the hospital that they are afraid to be left alone..I mean even for an hour...I just asked if it was ok if I went and took a nap...Mama got a fearful look on her face and shook her head no...when I said I would say, she calmed right down. alice kieft Mama doing better..in intermediate care..still spending 24/7 Sun-Fri there and my sister doing the weekend, and coming a couple times during week to relieve me. she is still unable to talk because of the treach, but they now have her on a treach collar, so hope it won't be too much longer til she is weaned and able to say some words...
