Currently I am Senior Director of Strategic Marketing at Newport Corporation, located at Newport’s Spectra-Physics Lasers Division in Mountain View, CA. Newport is a leading supplier of laser and photonic solutions for multiple markets.
Before my current appointment I have been Sen. Director of Product Marketing at Spectra-Physics - leading the Product Marketing team of highly skilled and trained Product Managers, Product Specialists, and Application Engineers. In that function I was part of the executive leadership team of Spectra-Physics.
Before that I directed a cross-functional team of marketing, in-house factory service, and engineering – with the focus on capitalizing on growth opportunities in the ultrafast laser market.
I joined the German of Spectra-Physics sales department in 1995, and transferred to the company headquarter in Mountain View in 1999 as a Product Manager.
