Elissa Dermawan finished her BSc. in Biological Sciences from The Master’s College, in California, USA. Graduated with a Cum Laude, she was also the recipient of a department sponsored scholarship for a summer course at the Au Sable Institute of Environmental Science (MI, USA), where she received an Environmental Analyst certification.

She went on to teach (part-time) a college level Environmental Science class for two semesters at Cerritos College. This particular position required her to make a connection between her Environmental Science knowledge with environmental laws (EPA) since Cerritos College mainly ran paralegal degree programs. She, then, moved back to Indonesia to teach (full-time) IB Diploma Biology and IB MYP Science at an IB World School for about 2 years.

With biology background in hand, a love for education and interaction with people, she decided to go to Singapore to seek for more challenges and to gain new experience. She was granted a PR status and has since then been working for the RSA Group where she now utilizes her biology background and people skill to help bring the best talents to Singapore’s booming pharmaceutical and life sciences industry.
