With an MBA is Finance/Taxation from New York University, and an undergraduate degree in Engineering from Syracuse University, Howard began his career in the financial services industry in 1989. He has focused his practice on meeting the estate* and retirement planning needs (including setting up both qualified and non-qualified retirement plans) for affluent individuals, professionals and business owners. Howard recently completed the course work for a Wharton Certificate in Retirement Planning. Howard also holds the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and the Accredited Estate Planner (AEP) designations from the American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. Howard is also a frequent student at the Advest Institute, a semi-annual gathering on the campus of Harvard University where selected financial professionals hear from some of the best economic minds in the country.



For more than 15 years, he has consistently qualified for AXA/MONY’s elite honor clubs including the Summit, Forum, Top 50, President’s Council Awards, Top Club and Hall of Fame. These company honors recognize leadership, outstanding sales performance and service to clients. In addition, Howard has earned the industry’s National Quality Award and Health Insurance Quality Award.



He is a Life and Qualifying Member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), an international association of leading financial professionals that is recognized as the standard of excellence in the life insurance industry. MDRT members represent the top six percent of life insurance and financial professionals worldwide.



Active in the industry, Howard is the past president of the Board of Director for the Estate Planning Council of Nassau County, Inc. He is also a past president of the Long Island Chapter of the International Association of Financial Planners (IAFP).



Equally as committed to his community, Howard sits on the Board of the Nassau Police Reserves an organization that supports our police department and focuses its attention on providing college and graduate school scholarships to both officers and their children. Additionally, Howard serves on the Board of Directors of the New Disciplinary School, a school that provides early intervention for children with both physical and mental challenges.
