I am the project and account manager of a web development company based in Cornwall called uknetweb. As a company specialising in the technical perspective of websites my role combines project / account management with online / offline strategy synchronisation. I joined the uknetweb team at the beginning of 2008 after running an independent marketing agency for two years. I had found myself working alongside uknetweb on so many projects it became more sensible to join the core team (besides it’s always nice to be working with other people.). In my time as MD of my own marketing company I assisted companies in preparing strategies, identifying opportunities, lead generation, managing projects, rebranding etc etc. My specialisms are in sales, relationship marketing and strategic guidance. I have worked with a range of clients within the SME sector such as; The Electronic Waste Company, TEE Ltd and Infinitus Security. My training has been through a combination of work based experience, research and mentoring from a range of experts from various fields. I am lucky to have received one to one support, advice and guidance from leading business people, advertising gurus, marketers, politicians and others. On a personal note, I live in Cornwall with my partner and two children. My interests are a bit all over the place but include; photography, blogging, outdoor parties and genealogy.
