Training Compliance Manager, US Air Force Reserve / 477 MXS Squadron

I am currently the Aircraft Maintenance Group Education & Training Compliance Manager for the 477th Fighter Group at Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson located in Anchorage, Alaska. I manage all the education & training services for two maintenance squadrons (MXS/AMXS) 150-person staff supporting 13 work centers and 20 programs. I maintain 100% trainining visibility through the use of a Monthly Training Newsletter, Community of Practice (CoP), 477th AMXS/MXS Sharepoint to ensure seemless and multiple communication channels with both squadrons are always available. I also recommend systematic changes to units training program. Oversees compliance with regulations by analyzing unit performance data collected through inspections and audits. Formulate and implements policies and procedures to train 125 aircraft maintenance technicians and supervisors with rerserve component and active duty units. Provides critical information needed for annual award packages. Plans and conducts monthly status of training briefings with 477 AMXS/MXS, 477 FG and 3rd MXG. Instructs supervisors annually on the use of Training Business Area (TBA) and Integreated Maintenance Data System (IMDS) while also instructing the Air Force Training Course (AFTC) to potential OJT trainers. I have a 15 year proven track record of designing, implementing and restructuring staff training programs while significantly reducing the cost to deliver & implement the training program. I have continually raised the bar on the quality of training at each organization I have been apart of. I have managed and developed a staff of highly dedicated trainers/instructors to execute the requirments of the training plan. I am a analytical, innovative, problem solver who enjoys developing new organizational methodologies and improving the current training system solutions. And have extensive experience in developing training programs at Hotels, Clubs, U.S. Air Force Squadrons, and Government Non-Proit agencies to meet there specific needs. I bring a unique perspective to providing training and customer service gained by having first hand experience and understanding of how to lead and manage a large group of international staff from various nations, all brought together with a shared vision to deliver 5-Diamond customer service. I have specialized in the start up of new hotels and the day to day running of the resort and business hotel operations, managing all guest service aspects. All properties spanning from leisure resorts, casinos and corporate hotels. My direct involvement with recruitment and training has kept standards high and turnover low in a highly volital tourism markets. During my time in the hotel business and Air Force I received awards and recognition for developing creative solutions to a wide range of technical customer service and training problems.
