He was involved in construction engineering and management, geotechnical engineering, quality control and material testing, structural engineering, and water/wastewater engineering. Mr. Mathari has managed projects at local, state, federal, and international levels. His activities involved feasibility evaluation, planning, designing, and construction management of tunnels, roads, buildings, bridges, airports, tanks, dams, and pipelines. Mr. Mathari has managed up to 180 personnel from 16 different countries and 35 subcontractors at one time. Areas of expertise: Analysis, design, and construction management of foundations, retaining structures, and underground facilities; value engineering; structural distress evaluation of buildings, bridges, dams, and pavements; geotechnical investigation, instrumentation, monitoring, and reporting; and rehabilitation of constructed facilities.
