As a consultant or manager, I endeavor to... (1) articulate aspirations, (2) generate energy and new ideas, (3) move an organization or great idea forward, and (4) command the trust, loyalty and cooperation of my colleagues, customers and business partners. I believe that I bring a lot of integrity, passion, empathy, and creativity to goals, problem-solving, change, and crisis. More importantly, I don't just believe in doing amazing things; I do amazing things. In today’s business environment, few organizations can settle for incremental improvement. Occasionally, the organization must undergo performance transformations to get, and ensure a sustainable success. On the other hand, challenges will come and some challenges may become crisis. The ability to effectively manage Change and Crisis are critical to being a world-class manager and trusted advisor. Change must be made meaningful to all and its story must be personalized and energizing. I get very personal about my role as a mentor, the work and the value I or my organization brings to customers. I go to great endeavor to inspire others as a role model for desired mindsets, culture and behavior. Fortunately, I have always been able to build strong and committed teams by getting personal and involved. And I get more involved when significant value is at stake. Beyond change, crisis happens; the yin and yang of good and ill fortune often shifts without warning. Most are unprepared for crisis; it devastates people. I believe it is best to focus on going forward rather than trying to understand every detail of what happened in the past. Bringing the minds and souls of your people back online is critical; you have to get them off the floor and focus them on doing the things that will get the organization back on track. My broad experience includes serving as a Board Member, CEO of several start ups, Creative Director, Editor, IT Advisor, ONLINE STRATEGIST, Marketing Consultant, Political Advisor, Public Relations Manager, Project Manager, Research Director, Sales Director, TECHNOLOGIST and writer. I am fascinated by those who clearly understand the insurmountable challenges within themselves and the intimidating external challenges that stand in the way to your desires, and yet... they see the opportunity and meaningfulness in every challenge. I prize people who pursue virtue: those that live their lives with courage, wisdom, love, light... I admire those who follow their heart with courage, fortitude, determination and intelligence. The heart can be an excellent compass, but, alone, the heart does not make great decisions. This is a wisdom that is difficult to use.
