Anthony BrysonTony Bryson has been involved in the Automotive sector since 1979. Working in all areas of an automotive dealership from Sales Manager, Controller, General Manager and Partner allowed him to become diverse in his experience and insight. Early in his automotive career Tony found the need for tools to run operations that were lacking in the sales areas in the automotive dealership that lead to his creation of Bryson Computer Services, Inc. in 1982 primarily focused on Inventory control and Finance operations. Under his control the company expanded to other market segments, building a company that designed database software, financial programs and open source tools for managing computer systems in other industries. The company was restructured to allow others to run the business without daily involvement and Tony to become involved in other business ventures. Being involved in the ownership of a computer company while working in the automotive arena gave Tony the knowledge that allowed him to become a partner in George B Jones Consulting Co where his expertise in negotiations, computers and automotive operations intersected. Selling his stock in George B Jones Consulting Co in 1999, Tony has worked with ADP Dealer Services in the Strategic Marketing Director role focused on competitive markets, training on consultative selling techniques and raising awareness of customer marketing and database management. His primary focus today is CRM tools and their purpose in the automotive dealership. Tony has written articles for publications, published a book on Consultative Selling techniques, and worked with other industries to create analysis tools to allow them to understand their customers’ needs and improve their impact on their markets.
