Tracey IngramGlobal Communication Specialist , Institute of Accent Modification The ability to communicate clearly is vital in today’s world. As the President and Global Communication Specialist of the Institute of Accent Modification, I am experienced and certified by the Institute of Language and Phonology to provide foreign accent modification training. We utilize a client centered blended learning method which incorporates the Compton P-ESL program to optimize our client's success. In our customized sessions for individuals and groups, my team and I use an integrative approach to help clients reach their goals and objectives. These convenient workshops are available in individual or group sessions, and are conducted either in-person at our corporate headquarters in Chicago, at the client’s office, or online. I am nationally certified by the American Speech Language Hearing Association, and am fully accredited and licensed. I am also a member of the ITBE (Illinois Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages). I first began my career as a clinical Audiologist, spending over twelve years in private practice, dispensing hearing aids, diagnostic testing, supervising interns, and counseling clients. I have counseled several area small businesses and Fortune 500 companies regarding their employee’s communication needs, as well as several area colleges and universities, including Elmhurst College and Dominican University. I have been a frequently invited speaker for service clubs, consumer groups, and retirement communities. Outside of my work as an Accent Coach, I am presently studying Spanish.
