Professional Summary
A native of Connecticut and graduate of the George Washington University, I recently had the good fortune to spend a year on the campaign trail in the Nutmeg State.
My passion has always been at the intersection of politics and technology. During my time in Washington I used adamjschmidt.com to keep in touch with Connecticut politics and to provide commentary on national events. I also had the opportunity to serve as a guest contributor on the BBC during the 2008 presidential race.
For the past two years I've worked with both political clients and advocacy organizations to develop and execute online communication plans that further their strategic goals.
My wife and I currently reside outside of Annapolis, Maryland where we chronicle life with our incorrigible dog Ellie at NewlyMarylanders.com
