I am the Director of Aerospace, Defense, & Security at Foliage.

Foliage provides product development services ranging from product and technology strategy consulting to hands-on software development. In 250+ programs, Foliage has helped its clients achieve R&D efficiencies and faster time-to-revenue.

I work with our clients at the executive-level, helping them to derive more value from their product lines. I leverage twenty-one years of government and product program management, client management, and product realization experience, facilitating the delivery of envisioned products to market in the aerospace, defense, & security markets. I have also been actively involved in Foliage's consulting and development, delivery and ITAR Security compliance.

At the executive level, there is a deep appreciation for the impact that time to market and development costs have on revenue and profitability. I have a strong interest in helping my clients find ways to optimize and leverage their existing organizational assets—people, facilities, process, organization, technology, workflow, and business process.

Typically I am brought into an organization in response to some organizational challenge that comes about as a result of a precipitating event such as winning a program, merger or acquisition, obsolescence—modernization or migration, verticalization, or competitiveness issues. When these events occur, an organization is most challenged to better leverage R&D through better productivity, controlling head-count, maintaining or increasing quality, higher efficiency, faster throughput, enhanced customer satisfaction, and scalability.

I speak and write on such topics as UASs in the National Airspace System and on leveraging product line synergies to create market opportunity, and on increasing R&D efficiency through focused alignment of technology and business strategies.
