Heya! I’m Danny…but then if you’re here, you probably already knew that.

I’m currently spending my days at POKE NY, an awesome digital creative shop where we focus on rich ideas instead of big ones. Our goal is to create experiences that enrich lives through creativity and value, rather than intruding into someone’s personal world by shouting louder than the next guy. We’re out to change the world, and we firmly believe we can do just that. Even if it means that we have to do it one person at a time.

Here’s a little more about how I got to POKE…

I’m a visual storyteller, a weaver of words, and a brand initiator. A fascination with impressions and monikers, branding and strategy, as well as all forms of design, shaped my diverse education and subsequent career path. After completing a B.A. with dual majors in marketing and acting at Washington University in St. Louis, I went on to earn a M.A. in advertising from the renowned Texas Creative Program at the University of Texas in Austin.

Bolstered by a strong marketing background and a keen eye for design, exposure to the theories of media-neutral advertising and creativity opened my eyes to the possibilities beyond “traditional” branding. I immersed himself in the digital landscape, studying and participating in the current trends which are now synonymous with contemporary culture — particularly within the youth market.

My interest in connecting people and my understanding of innovative media led me to roles with a variety of blogs, both personal and professional, ultimately leading to the creation of *AmongMany, a collection of content for creative and like-minded people.
