I went to Eastern Illinois University & was there until I finished my degree in Special Education. After college, I worked as a Transition Liaison for a school district on Chicago’s North Shore. I assisted Special Education Students with their transition from High School to “The Real World”. After my work with High School Students, I found myself wanting to assist adults that have slipped through the cracks. That's when I started working at a very competitive social services agency that specializes in working with individuals with disabilities in the City of Chicago.
