Work Experience

ElanElan / Director
2000 - Present
I am an Australian who started professional life as a Civil Engineer.

After a period in Africa (Namibia) I found the computing more interesting than the engineering.

I became one of Australia's leading computer entrepreneurs in the 70s and 80s, supplying solutions (software and hardware) for the Accountancy Profession in 15 countries around the world. Later I was based in Hong Kong, New Zealand, and the UK. In the process, I have enjoyed big highs and accomplishments with the help of great colleagues, and also my share of disasters.

I sold up in the UK and moved to Antigua in the Caribbean in 2000 after my wife, Caramia, was diagnosed with Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis (PPMS or MS) in 1999. She thought that the sun would help, and in that she has been proven to be correct.

The UK docs gave her 10 years to live, but she is now into year 11. She has learnt a huge amount about MS along the way, though at great cost in pain and suffering. And in dollars too, like all the proceeds of the UK sale in 2000!

If in 1999 Caramia had known what she knows now, or been able to find someone who could give her the information, her life, and mine, would have been very different.

Yes, with the right information and treatment, MS is NOT a death sentence, and can be mastered or even cured, without breaking the bank in the process, as it does now for so many with conventional medicine's expensive but wrong approach.

We have now set up a web site to make Caramia's knowledge and help available to others who are in the position Caramia was in back in 1999. It should also be a good business.

The site is:
Naked Multiple Sclerosis
www.nakedms.me
How to Enjoy Emotional Freedom from Multiple Sclerosis Stress

A relationship (community and dating) site specifically for MS people will follow:
www.nakedmsrelationships.me

Thus ElanElan is now the MS company, which owns and operates web sites dedicated to helping people with MS.

What is Your Howling Dog?
This Awesome content was written by Bruce Musik. (I have added my thoughts in red.)
It is poignant, sobering and enlightening.......
