I grew up in South Jersey and went to the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO) in Philadelphia. After Optometry school I went to Northeastern State University (NSU) in Oklahoma for my post-doctorate residency.

Oklahoma is the only state that licenses Optometrists to perform Laser surgery and minor surgical procedures. It is also one of the few states that licenses Optometrists to prescribe oral medications - including narcotics. It is the one state in the country that Optometrists can practice at the HIGHEST level possible as an Optometrist -that is why I chose to do my residency there.....I wanted the kind of solid educational background that my patients can depend on and trust.

After my residency, I was recruited to South Florida in 1996 to direct two Laser Vision Centers because of my training in PRK and LASIK (refractive surgery).

After my experience there, I bought my first office located next to Lenscrafters in 1997 in Pembroke Pines. It is here where I started the creation of Visionary Eyecare. Around this time I also became a part-time adjunct faculty member at Nova University College of Optometry and also became one of the examiners for the National Board of Examiners in Optometry.

I have always enjoyed providing the highest quality thorough eye examination possible. I invested heavily in state-of-the-art equipment and technology to provide the most comprehensive and acurate eye exam possible.

I often heard patients say "Wow, this is the MOST thorough eye exam I've ever had! I've never had an eye exam like this before!!".

I do believe that we all want PRECISE vision....and this begins with a state-of-the art, high-tech eye health and vision evaluation.

Also, providing clear, understandable and detailed communication to all of my patients is also of the utmost importance

Several years later, I opened my second Visionary Eyecare next to Lenscrafters in the Sawgrass Mall and in 2007 I opened my third Visionary Eyecare in Davie next to Pearle Vision.

I am thrilled that all 3 of my offices are in alignment with my vision of creating a high quality state-of-the-art eye exam - with a friendly and personal touch that patients can depend on.

All 3 offices provide innovative high-tech eye exams for ages 4 and up, contact lens exams, glaucoma, cataract and retinal evaluations, Laser vision evaluations and Emergency Eye Care.

I have always had a passion for photography - especially creating images women and children - capturing the essence of who they are - mostly in the expression in their eyes.

I minored in photography in college and went back to school in 2005 at the Ft. Lauderdale Art Institute to learn more about photography.

I've always thought that it was interesting that my professional life is about eyes, vision and sight and my personal passion is all about the creation of alluring visual art.
