One in four adults will suffer a mental health problem - Elaine Hanzak was one of those who thought she wasn’t the type to suffer this illness but she was proved to be wrong! The birth of her much-wanted son changed her world in ways which are both shocking and moving. Elaine shares her story, emphasising the far-reaching effects such an illness can have and most importantly how we all can play our part to reduce such suffering.
Elaine has written a book about her journey, to offer others hope and to help reduce the stigma associated with it. She now campaigns to increase the awareness and improve the resources for others who are affected by mental ill-health.
