I’m fairly new to Online Networking and I realize I have a lot to learn about it – but as a sales and marketing professional there is no denying it presents an incredible opportunity to find, cultivate, build and even re-establish relationships.
I joked that this type of networking has allowed me to have a social life without ever leaving my home and to make business deals without having to eat another “Mystery Chicken” lunch at a sales or marketing networking event.
My goal for these is not so much to collect names as to connect with the people who I find and who find me. And it is also to build my reputation, the reputation of my company and the reputation of co-workers, colleagues and friends with whom I have made a connection.
