Work Experience

applestar productions / Executive Director
1999 - Present
I provide instructional design and training services to non-profit and corporate clients, including customized workshops, courses and retreats in classroom, blended and e-formats in synchronous and asynchronous formats.

Under Applestar I have taught at many local, regional, national and international conferences in the Christian, literacy, education and corporate sectors.
Mimeo.com / Proposals Specialist
2007 - 2008
At Mimeo, I wrote RFP responses to the numerous requests we received from large complex companies, putting all of my skills to use in different ways. I used SharePoint to create a knowledge base for the info, working to organize all the info from scratch. I led the team that selected the RFP database software (PMAPs) after a through review of the competing vendors out there and worked to implement the data conversion. I did some instructional design for product training and redid the new hire sales training on a moment's notice when the current trainer left unexpectedly, implementing an innovative hands on approach not previously in the program.
multiplan/phcs / Senior Education Specialist
2001 - 2007
At PHCS, acquired by MultiPlan in 2007, I wrote and delivered training including e-learning, soft skills and managed highly technical programs. I rewrote the core training program for the key software used companywide, and during the merger led the documentation and training efforts for the meshing of the newly formed company programs.
