Professional Summary
I am a senior director and professional problem solver in the pharmaceutical industry whose success is attributable to strong leadership, project management, resource identification, and talent development skills. My achievements stem from a strategic medical marketing vision that integrates scientific and clinical perspectives into commercial objectives. This "big picture" approach ensures that physicians receive relevant information while allowing pharmaceutical companies to gain - or regain - recognition and success through educational programming initiatives of high integrity.
My industry tenure spans 19 years. Since 2000, I have successfully developed and directed Medical Science Liaison teams for organizations both large and small. I have established program operations and developed business plans, collaborations, and advocacy development initiatives that have contributed to corporate milestones. My therapeutic experience spans multiple areas including CNS disorders, infectious diseases, cardiovascular diseases, urology, and oncology. I have been affiliated with companies using diverse treatment approaches ranging from immunotherapies to pharmacogenetic/pharmacognomic targeting. During this time, my true passion has been mentoring highly-motivated healthcare professionals in the art of relationship marketing and preparing them to engage in meaningful scientific exchanges with influential peers.
In addition to my successes within Medical Affairs, I draw from direct experience in sales, training, management, and marketing roles. I have pounded the pavement, developed Key Opinion Leader relationships, managed budgets, and created tactics to drive productivity and revenue.
I hold two degrees from the University of Georgia – GO DAWGS!!!
