- Work as Senior Technical Expert, focusing on WebCenter Suite, Oracle BPM and other SOA products in the new generation Oracle Fusion Middleware stack.
- Support Asia Pacific customers.
- Negotiate case severity, assesses upgrade/downgrade with customer.
- Reproduce, troubleshoot and analyze customer issues, provide workaround, write reports to extend the knowledge base as well as to inform management.
- Maintain knowledge on customer architecture and environment for assigned accounts.
- Work with world wide team, especially AMER, APAC to get through tough technical issues and share resources.
- Provide Follow-The-Sun support once necessary.
- Interact with customers, partners, and software developers to provide technical advice and assistance.
- Identify and document product defects for Development Engineering.
- Review design specifications and external technical publications and provide feedback resulting from reviews.
- Mentor other DREs.
- Resource/Knowledge management.
